MS Dhoni, who led India to victory in the 2007 Men’s T20 World Cup in South Africa, congratulated Rohit Sharma and his team for winning the title at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. Dhoni also thanked them for an unforgettable birthday gift, as he is set to celebrate his birthday on July 7.
Known for captaining India to the 2011 ODI World Cup and the 2013 Champions Trophy, Dhoni usually stays off social media. However, after the 2024 win, he took to Instagram and wrote:

The phrase “priceless gift” sparked interest online, reminding fans of an old interview where Dhoni humorously denied having received any priceless gift. In a 2019 interview from Mastercard’s ‘Priceless Moments’ series, Mandira Bedi asked him, “What is your most priceless gift?” Dhoni wittily replied, “I am waiting for the gift; it hasn’t come yet,” and added, “Once you said it, people won’t give you any more gifts.”
