Fashion behemoth Louis Vuitton has granted a dream internship opportunity to a 13-year-old boy, thanks to a tweet from his supportive mother. Milan’s fashion sketches, shared on social media in November, gained attention from journalist Marie Gentric of French news outlet BFMTV.
Impressed by Milan’s dedication, Gentric amplified his story, urging Louis Vuitton to take notice. The call to action proved effective, leading to the luxury house extending an internship offer to Milan.

The 13-year-old expressed his gratitude, describing the experience as “magical.” Gentric praised Milan, saying, “You are the magic one.” This heartwarming tale shows the power of social media in realising big dreams.
Earlier in October, the world’s top luxury group LVMH’s third quarter sales stood flat at 19.96 billion euros, a one percent increase from the same period last year.
The marginal third quarter sales increase pales in comparison with the double-digit increases LVMH posted in the first two quarters, but the company said that despite the “uncertain economic and geopolitical environment, the Group is confident in the continuation of its growth”.
The group, whose brands include Louis Vuitton, Dior and Tiffany, totalled 62.2 billion euros in turnover over the first nine months of 2023. Last July, LVMH reported that its net profits had soared by 30 percent to 8.48 billion euros in the first half of the year.
