As many as 34 children, engaged in making bangles, were rescued by the city police in Jaipur on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team conducted searches in some houses in Bhatta Basti area and rescued the children who were aged between 10 and 15, a police officer said.
All the children hailed from Bihar, Investigating Officer Ramanand said. Three persons who had allegedly engaged them in bangle-making work in violation of the law had been held, he said.
