Jodhpur-based film distributor Pratap Bulchand has filed the case claiming another film with a similar title has already been produced.

New Delhi: Actor Aamir Khan's new film Kajari has run into trouble with law with Jodhpur court issuing a notice to him and four others in a civil suit seeking a stay on the shooting and release of the film.

Jodhpur-based film distributor Pratap Bulchand has filed the case at the court of Additional Civil Magistrate, claiming another film with a similar title has already been produced and that he has the distribution rights for that movie.

The petitioner, seeking stay on the shooting of the Aamir Khan-starrer said that Jai Thakur, a film producer in Rajasthan, had completed production of his film Kajrari, starring small-time actors Arpita Singh and Imran Khan.

The movie has been cleared by the Censor Board and is slated to hit theatres next month, the applicant's counsellor Ashok Joshi said.

Besides Aamir, notices have also been issued to Jai Thakur, Association of Motion Pictures and TV Programme Producers, director A R Murugadas and Allu Arvind.
