Change answers for Rs 10k in BU

BANGALORE: In a major setback, answer script leak scam has hit Bangalore University (BU). While question paper leak was a common occurrence, members of National Students’ Union of Indian (NSUI) exposed a racket, where answer scripts were leaked. The racket involved a network of individuals who sold OMR answer sheets of previous semester exams for Rs 10,000. Answer scripts of first, third and fifth semester exams were allegedly leaked. The NSUI members, who spoke to the press after submitting a memorandum to Governor H R Bhardwaj, also the chancellor of BU, said they had conducted the sting operation after they heard students complain about the racket. Mahesh Ravanikar, state president of NSUI, said, “We conducted the sting on October 19, but the students involved in the sting were too scared to appear before the media. Hence, the delay.”
