Kids learn a few tricks from their M.A.D man!

KOCHI: It was truly a fun-filled ride for about 100 children who interacted with Rob, the host of M.A.D (Music, Art and Dance show), a hit show on Pogo channel.The show, held at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Kochi, on Saturday, was organised by The New Indian Express Group in conjunction  with the District Tourist Promotion Council (DTPC).The workshop was modelled after his show, where Rob taught children to make crafty items, making a few along with them. Rob opened a plethora of creative activities in front of the children with simple art tools like pencils, painting brush, straw, waste material and the like. The children were excited every single time they discovered new styles and crafts. They were also provided with kits full of painting materials. Children got excited when Rob painted the face of a Kung-Fu master with ink and straw. He drew the face and then spread the ink by blowing over the ink with a straw, which took the shape of hairs and beard on the master’s face. Drawing cityscape with just a few drops of oil colour and a playing card as spatula also excited them. There were a total of three sessions in the workshop.
