Man held for smuggling

KOCHI: The city shadow police, on Tuesday, arrested Stanley Joshy, 39, for smuggling large amounts of protein powder, used for body-building. The police said that the Indian-made powder worth Rs1,18,000, was being smuggled from Chennai by train. A fine of Rs 29,735 was levied from Stanley. The seizure was made based on a tip-off received by Special Branch Assistant Commissioner M N Ramesh.
