New Delhi: It was a pleasant day in the capital on Sunday with the maximum temperature at 34.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. Monday is likely to see similar weather and some areas might see very light rain, the Met department said.
"The sky will be cloudy on Monday and very light rain is expected in some areas of the capital," said an official of the India Meteorological Department. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 33 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The minimum temperature on Sunday was 25.7 degrees Celsius - average for this time of the season.
