HYDERABAD: The first bandh called by Telangana forces after the Sakala Janula Samme had fizzled out in October last year turned out to be peaceful and complete across the region on Tuesday. It was, however, partial in Hyderabad and parts of Rangareddy and Mahbubnagar districts with RTC buses and trains running without trouble and hospitals functioning normally. The bandh, called to mourn the suicides of two persons demanding separate statehood for Telangana, was observed in Telangana districts. While government employees attended offices and staged token protests, private establishments including banks, shops, cinema halls, and private offices remained shut for the day.In Hyderabad, the bandh had partial impact on public life as both public and private offices functioned as usual. However, commercial establishments were shut for most part of the day.
