Aamir Khan was rescued from the Chennai Floods on Tuesday evening. It has been now revealed that Ajith Kumar came to Aamir's help in the rains.

Ajith Kumar met with Aamir Khan and Vishnu Vishal after they were rescued during the Chennai Floods. On Tuesday, photos went viral showing Aamir, Jwala Gutta and Vishnu were seen being rescued on a boat after the torrential rains hit Chennai. The Fire and Rescue Department helped them to reach a safe spot. Hours after the photos were sharing, Vishnu revealed he and Aamir met with Ajith Kumar. Taking to X, previously known as Twitter, Vishnu revealed that Ajith came to his and Aamir’s help after he learnt that they were stuck in their residence in the heavy rains.

“After gettting to know our situation through a common friend, The ever helpful Ajith Sir came to check in on us and helped with travel arrangements for our villa community members…Love you Ajith Sir!” Vishnu shared on X.

“More than 30 people wer taken out from our villa community with many old people as well. Thanks to the firemen who helped us all and are helping other people in karapakkam… We gave them some food that we had.. Please help these people as well ..they are workin non stop n reaching out to as many people as possible with so much physical effort,” Vishnu added.

It has been revealed that Aamir has temporarily moved to Chennai. Earlier this year, it was reported that the actor has moved to the city due to his mother’s health condition. His mother is reportedly seeking treatment at a private hospital. The actor seems to be staying in a villa in Karapakkam area.

For the unversed, torrential rain triggered by the cyclone has wreaked havoc upon Tamil Nadu, with Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Nagapattinam, Cuddalore, and Thiruvallur districts bearing the brunt of the downpour. Most parts of Chennai are currently submerged in water, with heavy inundation in low-lying areas, even as civic agency personnel were involved in clearing the stagnant water. In some areas, cars were seen floating on waterlogged roads.

Tamil actors Suriya and Karthi have announced an initial donation of Rs 10 lakhs that will go to helping in any kind of relief aid required. The distribution is said to be done through their fan clubs.
