In a major security breach incident, a man intruded into Lok Sabha while proceedings were underway on Wednesday. From what was seen on videos, the man stormed Parliament carrying something that emitted smoke.

Two people jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery and opened canisters that emitted a similar-coloured smoke, triggering panic among the MPs. What We Know About The Accused

-A man has claimed that one of the youngster arrested in Parliament breach case is his son, Manoranjan. The man, Devraj, has identified him by looking at the visuals on TV.

Manoranjan is a resident of Mysore and had left three days back, saying he is going to Bengaluru. His father has claimed that he has no links with any organization or political party.

He had completed engineering and wasn’t working anywhere, Manoranjan’s  family has claimed, adding that they are well to do.

-Delhi Police said the two others were detained outside Parliament. The have been identified as Neelam (42), of Haryana’s Hisar, and Amol Shinde (25), of Maharashtra’s Latur area.

What Happened in Lok Sabha Today

BJP MP Khagen Murmu was speaking in Lok Sabha when a man stormed, jumping table to table, triggering panic in House.

Congress MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla, who caught hold of the two men who jumped down the visitors’ gallery into the House, narrated the incident and said “…He had something in his hand which was emitting yellow-coloured smoke. I snatched it away and continued throwing it outside…This is a major security breach…”

The incidents came on a day when the country is observing the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack. Terrorists of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed outfits attacked the Parliament complex on this day in 2001, killing nine people.
